Local speech processing

VINNU is designed to run speech-to-text locally on your device where the platform supports it. In those cases, your voice audio is processed on-device and is not sent to a cloud transcription service.

No silent cloud fallback

VINNU does not silently route your audio to a cloud service for transcription. Where local processing is unavailable, behavior will be clearly indicated rather than happening in the background.

Optional third-party AI features

You may choose to connect optional third-party AI tools for prompt workflows. These features are separate from the local transcription pipeline. When you use them, your text may be sent to the AI provider you have chosen, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Improvement data

Any collection of data to improve VINNU is opt-in and off by default. We will not collect your voice recordings for model improvement without your clear, explicit consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

What the website collects

This website does not collect microphone or audio data. Analytics are disabled by default and, if enabled, are configured to be privacy-conscious and to avoid invasive tracking.
